U.S.-Iran Conflict Escalates as Diplomatic Memorandum Collapses Amid Regional Strikes

The military confrontation between the United States and Iran has intensified significantly as U.S. airstrikes entered their seventh consecutive night. Economically, the virtual closure of the Strait of Hormuz has triggered a surge in global oil prices. In a further escalation of maritime pressure, the IRGC has reportedly requested Yemen’s Houthi rebels to prepare for the closure of Red Sea oil routes should the U.S. target Iranian power infrastructure.
