Conflict Escalates to Tehran as U.S. Forces Strike Strategic Sites Across Iran

The conflict between the United States and Iran has escalated into a multi-province strategic air campaign. Global energy markets are bracing for severe disruption as the Strait of Hormuz, which accounts for 20% of global oil and gas shipments, remains the primary theater of the maritime confrontation. President Trump’s administration has signaled a commitment to maintaining the blockade to protect commercial interests, while Tehran describes the current state of affairs as an 'existential war.'
