Despite the public disagreement, diplomatic sources indicate that technical teams are expected to discuss the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) brokered by Pakistan and Qatar. On the ground, a fragile 11-day-old ceasefire continues to hold. Both nations have agreed to suspend "kinetic activity," including strikes and blockades, to allow for the free movement of commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
