Tensions between the Trump administration and the Israeli government have surfaced following a reported heated phone call between President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to reports, Trump urged an immediate end to the conflict in Lebanon. While a partial ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah was subsequently reached via intermediaries, Netanyahu has stated that Israel will maintain operations in southern Lebanon and reserves the right to resume strikes in Beirut if the truce fails.
