The conflict between the United States and Iran has intensified on multiple fronts as President Donald Trump issued a directive for U.S. forces to use lethal force against Iranian small boats in the Strait of Hormuz. This escalation coincides with a rejection by Hezbollah of a three-week ceasefire extension in Lebanon, which Trump had announced on Thursday.
