U.S. and Israel Strike Iran Following Missile Barrage on Haifa; 13 Dead in Tehran Province

Tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran reached a new peak over the last 24 hours as joint U.S.-Israeli forces conducted airstrikes in Iran’s Tehran province. The operation follows a series of Iranian missile barrages that targeted central Israel and the city of Haifa, where three people were injured—one seriously—and significant damage was reported to local infrastructure and vehicles. The conflict has also expanded to involve regional allies. In the United Arab Emirates, state media confirmed that Iranian drones targeted a telecommunications company in Fujairah, drawing an active military response from UAE forces. This development marks a notable shift as the conflict moves beyond traditional maritime tensions in the Strait of Hormuz to direct strikes on Gulf civilian infrastructure. In response to the joint U.S.-Israeli operations, Tehran issued a stern warning. Iranian officials stated that any further attacks on civilian targets would trigger a "much more devastating" retaliatory response.
